MOSES CONE MEMORIAL PARK

Colonial revival mansion established in the late 1800's by NC's largest textile empire. The country estate now houses the Parkway Craft Center which displays mountain handicraft such as quilts, pottery etc and often has craft demonstrations. The grounds have an extensive trail system of carriage roads and small lake great for a walk or even fishing.
