This unique natural area in the Alpine Loop is a must-see! The springs were flowing and full of bright green plants even when we visited here in November— a surprising contrast to dark colors of the late fall landscape. Early fall is an especially beautiful time to visit when the fall colors are at their peak. There are several short, looping trails around the springs, making this a perfect spot to visit with young kids. The lower loop is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Great pump track with options for all aged riders, amazing views over the valley. Also a trailhead for the greater Corner Canyon biking/hiking trail system to extend your riding.
Large, very well curated museum with many hands-on exhibits and kid friendly features. Dinosaurs, geology, indigenous history, etc. Cafe on site and native plant terraces behind.

Check out the Canyon Overlook Trail on the east side of the park. 🥾 Just under 1 mile out and back and 157 feet of elevation gain. 🏜️ Perfect for hiking with kids or if you’re short on time in the park. 🅿️ Parking is limited and the shuttle does not go to this part of the park. Must drive through the Zion-Mount Carmel tunnel (vehicles must be under 13 feet high and under 40 feet long).
